WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Israel’s Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer on Thursday spoke about the importance of de-escalating tensions and Washington’s commitment to a two-state solution to the Israeli conflict with Palestinians, the State Department said.
Blinken and Dermer also discussed regional challenges posed by Iran and its proxies, State Department deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel told reporters.
