MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Canadian wildfire smoke is affecting Wisconsin again.
The state’s Department of Natural Resources has issued a statewide air quality advisory now through Monday morning at 6 a.m.
The state agency says the Air Quality Index is expected to range from the “Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups” level to the “Unhealthy” level. They also recommend that outdoor activities be kept short and light.
In June, Milwaukee was ranked the worst air quality in the world due to the smoke from western Canada.
