BEIRUT (Reuters) – Two people were killed on Wednesday in clashes between members of Shi’ite armed group Hezbollah and residents of a Christian town that erupted after residents surrounded an overturned lorry truck, two security sources told Reuters.
The clashes took place near the mountain town of Kahaleh, the sources said. The Lebanese army had surrounded the truck, whose contents were unknown, one source said.
