MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Colorado Rockies edged the Milwaukee Brewers in a bizarre, 7-3 extra innings victory at American Family Field on Tuesday night.
The game was tied at three runs apiece in the top of the 10th inning until Cole Tucker, Ezequiel Tovar and Ryan McMahon each drew back-to-back-to-back bases loaded walks to give Colorado a three-run lead.
Nolan Jones hit a sacrifice fly to add another run to seal the win. The left fielder also launched a pair of homers as Colorado improved to 45-68.
Andrew Chafin got the loss for Milwaukee, which fell to 61-54. Despite the setback, the Brewers still hold a game and a half lead over both the Reds and the Cubs in the NL Central.
The series will wrap up Wednesday afternoon with pregame coverage on WHBL beginning at 12:35.
