MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — The teenage boy charged in a Milwaukee’s Juneteenth post-celebration shooting was in court Thursday.
Judge Kristela Cervera was presiding at the initial appearance of the 15-year-old in Children’s Court.
“The state is requesting that the juvenile be waived to the adult court and that the court consider that,” said Cervera. “I see that an evaluation has been ordered.”
The court will discuss the state’s petition next month.
The boy faces 10 charges in the shooting that injured six teens.
