MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Brewers used a huge seventh inning to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 9-3 in Milwaukee on Monday night.
The Brew Crew carried a 3-1 lead heading into the bottom half of the seventh inning until Willy Adames slugged a three-run homer as part of a six-run inning. Joey Wiemer also crushed a three-run shot and drove in four runs while Freddy Peralta earned the win after pitching six innings of one-run ball.
Milwaukee improved to 20-15 and sits second in the NL Central.
The Brewers send Eric Lauer to the mound for game-two on Tuesday night while LA counters with Noah Syndergaard.
