MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Wisconsin’s unemployment rate dropped once again last month.
The Department of Workforce Development says Wisconsin’s unemployment rate dropped to 2.5% in March, which sets a new record.
New estimates show that Wisconsin added around 900 jobs in total.
The state’s total employment has also reached nearly 3-million people, beating the previous peak before COVID-19 hit Wisconsin in January of 2020.
