MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Be wary of where and how you’re buying prom and wedding dresses this spring.
Lisa Schiller with the Better Business Bureau says you shouldn’t be buying event dresses online without being sure there’s a physical location you can go to for a fitting.
“The website might look legitimate, they might even have an address or a phone number on the website.” said Schiller. “But take a minute to do a reverse check on that address.”
Schiller says you should be planning for your dress at least six months in advance to be sure it’s ready for your wedding day, and never pay full money for a dress before delivery.
