MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) –A second day of extreme wildfire risk across Wisconsin.
Department of Natural Resources spokesperson Catherine Koele says Thursday is going to be a critical day.
“Humidities are supposed to really drop out, we’re gonna have some gusty winds and things obviously are still very very dry.” said Koele. “So today is pretty much a repeat of yesterday”.
A Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 8 p.m. for the southern two-thirds of the state. A total of 38 counties are in extreme fire danger.
