GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Wisconsin Congressman Mike Gallagher says Republicans have work to do, following the state Supreme Court election.
He credits early and absentee voting by Democrats for their recent success in Wisconsin elections.
“We have a tendency on the conservative side to think ‘well all our voters are going to come out on election day, right?’ And we like to vote on Election Day, we like to vote in person. The Democrats have obviously embraced early voting, absentee voting.” said Gallagher.
Gallagher said Republicans may need to get their voters to do the same, until they have “the ability to tighten election procedures.”
