MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — The state moratorium on utility disconnections ends this weekend.
The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin urges electric and natural gas customers without outstanding bills to make payment arrangements or apply for financial help before the disconnection moratorium expires on Saturday.
Customers who’ve fallen behind are encouraged first to contact their utility to set up a payment plan.
They may also be eligible for assistance through the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program.
