WISCONSIN (WTAQ-WRN) — Hackers have attacked the Wisconsin court system’s computer network.
Court officials say in a Thursday statement the cyberattack began early this week and was continuing into Thursday afternoon.
Director of State Courts Randy Koschnick adds in the statement the court system has taken action to counter the attack, while state Supreme Court Chief Justice Annette Ziegler says the invasion of the system hasn’t caused a data breach, and court services continue as normal.
The statement also says there may be erratic service or slower response times from the system’s online services due to the attack.
