WISCONSIN (WTAQ-WRN) — Whitewater Police released new information on Monday regarding a newborn found dead in a field earlier this month.
Police Chief Dan Meyer said the “unidentified” boy was placed in the field “less than 48 hours” before being found.
Meyer said the newborn was wrapped in a light-colored shirt and discovered in a plastic bag inside of a cardboard box.
Investigators are still seeking any information related to the newborn’s death and that may identify the parents.
