WISCONSIN (WTAQ-WRN) — It’s state budget road show time in Wisconsin.
Stevens Point Republican, Senator Pat Testin, is on the Joint Finance Committee.
“We intend to go around the state to get feedback on the budget. And then from there, we’re going to dive headfirst into various state agencies and go line item by line item within their budget. And our hope is to craft a budget that is one, fiscally responsible and makes key investments in key areas of the state, while making sure that we don’t put ourselves in fiscal peril.” said Testin.
Democrats will also hold hearings, in support of budget proposals from Governor Tony Evers.
