MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — A Menasha man is arrested in the death of a Milwaukee transgender woman.
Cashay Henderson was found dead Sunday by Milwaukee firefighters after they put a blaze out in her apartment. The firefighters found 31-year-old Henderson with a gunshot wound.
A suspect in Henderson’s death was arrested late Tuesday night in Menasha after a slow-speed chase.
After Menasha Police deployed stop sticks and then asked the Wisconsin State Patrol to perform a PIT maneuver to stop the suspect vehicle, the 33-year-old driver then ran from the vehicle.
A Winnebago County K-9 and taser were used to take the man into custody. A handgun and other evidence were recovered from the man and the scene.
