Amahn Green may have big shoes to fill, but Sheboygan native Brett Sheldon appears to be the right fit as he takes over as Lakeland’s Head Coach of the Muskie’s ESports team.
Green, the program’s inaugural head coach and Green Bay Packers Hall of Famer, has returned to his alma mater, the University of Nebraska. For Sheldon, the move will be somewhat of a lateral as he’s been with the program since its debut in the fall of 2020.
Sheldon, a graduate of Sheboygan North High School, has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from UW-M and he completed his master of science in leadership & organizational development with an emphasis in project management from Lakeland in 2022. Sheldon had previously served as a sales account manager for WHBL’s sister station 104.5 and 96.1 The Point, and had also served an internship with Delaware North at the Milwaukee Brewers’ Miller Park.
