Lakeshore Technical College Interim Vice President of Instruction Tanya Wasmer has been given a Research-In-Progress” award from the Mid-South Educational Research Association in recognition of her outstanding dissertation proposal research. Wasmer received the award at the association’s regional conference held earlier this month in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Wasmer’s doctorate dissertation explored the relationship with a student who earns a Wisconsin technical college credential during high school and who then continues their education at the technical college after graduating. The dissertation was part of Wasmer’s pursuit of a Doctorate degree in adult learning and development with a concentration in community college leadership through Northwestern State University of Louisiana.
