Peru’s Castillo names Betssy Chavez as new prime minister

(Reuters) – Peru President Pedro Castillo on Friday named Minister of Culture Betssy Chavez as the country’s new prime minister.

She will replace Anibal Torres, who resigned late on Thursday.
