DAIRY NEWS – Dairy producers rely on innovative ideas and technologies to help them successfully manage and make decisions that drive their business productivity, efficiency and sustainability. Once again, attendees at the Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW) Business Conference will have the opportunity to hear and see firsthand from researchers and thought leaders developing the next generation of innovations as they present their ideas on the Nexus® stage at the 2023 PDPW Business Conference.
Scheduled for March 15-16, 2023, at Kalahari Resorts, Wisconsin Dells, Wis., the annual conference will showcase the top five finalists chosen to deliver a 20-minute presentation. Attendees will have an opportunity to answer questions of the presenters, who will in turn receive feedback from the progressive dairy producers attending. Each presentation will be professionally moderated.
“We’re excited to bring back the Nexus stage for the 2023 Business Conference to provide dairy producers the opportunity to hear firsthand from the idea-generators and inventors behind the next level of improvements for dairy,” said Katy Schultz, Fox Lake, Wis., dairy producer and PDPW board president. “Not only do the Nexus presentations provide a sneak preview of exciting new technologies, they inspire the entire dairy community to continue innovating for dairy farmers, our animals and environment.”
Applications can be submitted at www.pdpw.org/nexus and are being accepted through January 16, 2023; finalists will be selected by Feb. 6. The top five finalists will receive stage time both days of the conference as well as media coverage in the nationally circulated Progressive Dairy, PDPW’s Managers Memo e-newsletter and other promotional materials. In addition, complimentary booth space at the PDPW conference is awarded to all finalists.
