TAIPEI (Reuters) – Taiwan and the United States will continue to communicate on issues such as economic outlook and exchange rate policy and there are smooth communication channels between the two sides, a Taiwanese central bank official said on Friday.
The official was responding to the U.S. Treasury Department’s semi-annual currency report which kept Taiwan on its monitoring list for its currency practices.
