(Reuters) – Top fertilizer maker Nutrien Ltd said on Wednesday its third-quarter profit more than doubled, helped by demand for its plant nutrients from farmers looking to take advantage of higher crop prices.
Net earnings came in at $1.58 billion, or $2.94 a share, in the three months ended Sept. 30, from $726 million, or $1.25 per share, a year earlier
