Sheboygan’s hometown brewer, the 3 Sheeps Brewing Company is going to bring back their perennial fan favorite “Double Barrel Wolf ” beer on Saturday October 15 at 11 a.m. in the 3 Sheeps Brewing Company Taproom.
Every year, 3 Sheeps releases a special brew called “The Wolf,” which the brewery describes as “a wonderous mixture of warm bourbon, roasty notes of dark chocolate and coffee, plus flavors of vanilla, toffee and toasted marshmallow.” This year, The Wolf has been aged in two distinct barrels to create a heightened scale and sense of flavor for this stout beer. According to Grant Pauly, the Brewmaster and Co-founder of 3 Sheeps Brewing Co., “When you put a beer like The Wolf into a barrel, or in this case two, expecting what it will be like when it comes out, sometimes it’s exactly what you envisioned, and sometimes it isn’t. This time we ended up with a beer that was even better than we expected.”
22-ounce bottles of Double Barrel Wolf beer will be available for $30 to take home, as well from the draft taps at the taproom. More information on future draft releases and events is published online by 3 Sheeps Brewing on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
