MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WHBL) – A three-run walk-off home run from Jose Miranda lifted the Minnesota Twins to a 4-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday.
The Twins infielder took closer Josh Hader deep with nobody out in the bottom of the 9th, handing Hader his third loss of the season and dropping the Brewers to 49-40.
Milwaukee managed just four hits in the game from four different players including a double for Pedro Severino and a solo home run from Jace Peterson in the 3rd.
Aaron Ashby went 4.1 innings and allowed six hits and one earned run. He left with the game tied in the 5th.
Both teams remain in first place in their divisions after splitting the two-game set.
The Brewers start a four game series in San Francisco Thursday night with pregame coverage on WHBL beginning at 8:10.
