BUDAPEST (Reuters) – Hungary’s 2022 grains crop prospects have been “substantially damaged” by extreme heat and lack of rainfall, state news agency MTI cited Agriculture Minister Istvan Nagy as saying on Tuesday.
The hot weather has also prompted the start of the nationwide grains harvest earlier than usual, MTI cited Nagy as saying in a statement.
