MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers lost their fifth game in a row as they were shut out by the Philadelphia Phillies 10-0 on Wednesday night at American Family Field.
Brewers starter Adrian Houser gave up five runs in seven innings, alllowing three home runs. Milwaukee only managed five hits of their own, with only one man reaching second base.
The Brewers have scored only six runs in their five game losing streak, have been shut out three times and have fallen to 33-25 on the season. But they still remain in first place in the NL Central.
Corbin Burnes will be on the mound Thursday afternoon as they finish up their series with the Phillies. Pre game coverage begins at 12:35 on WHBL.
