EAGLE, WI (WSAU) — More than 100 firefighters were on the scene of a fire at Summerset Marine Construction in Eagle, where an explosion was reported at around 8 AM.
First responders say the incident injured three people, and three firefighters were injured while working to put out the flames
Crews from as far away as Kenosha and Washington counties were called in.
The situation proved difficult for crews not only because of the size of the fire but because it occurred in an area without fire hydrants. Meaning all water had to be brought in from tankers.
Summerset Marine Construction is a company that provides pier installation and servicing.
