MADISON, WI (METRO) — A claim of responsibility and a threat of even more violence was made this week following the arson attack on a pro-life group’s offices on Sunday in Madison.
A group called Jane’s Revenge yesterday took credit for the attack at the Wisconsin family Action office on Sunday.
The group said online that the attack was ‘only a warning,’ and said there would be more attacks if ‘all anti-choice groups, fake clinics, and violent anti-choice groups’ are not disbanded within the next month.
Madison Police say they are aware of the claim, and the new threat, but they are not saying if Jane’s Revenge is actually responsible for Sunday’s attack.
Jane’s Revenge is a reference to the Jane Collective, an underground abortion group that existed in the Chicago area in the 1960s and 1970s.
