GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Green Bay Packers will play the New York Giants in London on Sunday, Oct. 9. This is week five of the season.
Get up early, the game will be at 8:30 a.m. Green Bay time.
This is the first time the Packers have played overseas in the regular season.
The game will be played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It is the largest football club stadium in London, with a capacity of 62,850.
The Packers said it will have “an extremely limited” number of tickets available for season ticket holders, through a drawing. An email will be sent to those account holders who opted to receive promotional emails with details of the lottery.
The game will broadcast on NFL Network and a local broadcast affiliate to be determined.
The team has played abroad before, just never during the regular season.
Green Bay played in three international preseason games: in Toronto in 1997, Tokyo in 1998 and Winnipeg in 2019.
This will be the ninth Packers home game as part of the 17-game schedule.
Green package ticket holders will still get six home games and Gold package will still get two.
The full NFL schedule will be released May 12th.
