BOSTON, MA (WHBL) – The Boston Celtics evened their series with the Milwaukee Bucks at a game apiece on Tuesday night, blowing out the Bucks 109-86 even though they were without Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks in scoring with 28 points and also had a team-high in rebounds with nine. Jrue Holiday had 19, while Bobby Portis and Pat Connaughton had 13 each.
Boston’s Jaylen Brown led all scorers with 30 points while Jayson Tatum chipped in with 29 and a game-high eight assists.
The Bucks and Celtics will get the next three days off before the series shifts to Milwaukee for Game Three on Saturday.
