(WHBL) – The Green Bay Packers made two selections from the Georgia Bulldogs in the NFL draft’s first round on Thursday night.
With the 22nd selection they took inside linebacker Quay Walker and with the 28th pick added defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt.
Walker is the first inside linebacker taken by the Packers in the first round since AJ Hawk in 2006.
Wyatt is 6’3, 304 pounds and was named to the Coaches All-SEC First Team and as an All-American.
The Packers will have three selections in Friday’s portion of the draft. They have the 53rd & 59th pick in the 2nd round and the 92nd overall pick in round three.
