Active COVID-19 case counts in Sheboygan County have dropped back to levels last experienced in the first week of August, 2021.
On Monday, March 14, 2022, 167 active cases were being monitored by the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health. The most recent date with fewer was August 4, 2021, when there were 147. The 7-day average of new COVID-19 cases in Sheboygan County remained nearly steady at 3.
The 10 newly-confirmed COVID-19 cases recorded Monday by the County DPH raised the pandemic total to 29,283. With 40 recoveries, the active count dropped by 10.
One hospital patient was discharged since Friday, and 6 now remain hospitalized.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports that 62.8% of county residents, or 72,324, have received at least one dose of vaccine. 60.0%, or 69,183, have received two shots, and 32.4%, or 37,325, are now boosted.
The weekly Facility-Wide-Investigation report from the County DPH showed no change in the number of nursing homes now being watched. The current five are:

Eleven fewer educational facilities were under investigation compared with last week. The remaining 22 are:
