(WHBL) – The 14th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers topped the Michigan State Spartans on Tuesday night 70-62 in East Lansing.
The Badgers never trailed in the game and moved into a first place tie in the Big Ten with Illinois and Purdue.
Johnny Davis bounced back from a couple of poor scoring games with 25 points. Tyler Wahl and Chucky Hepburn had 11 points each, Brad Davison had eight and Steven Crowl had six.
Marcus Bingham Jr. had 15 points for Michigan State, which lost its second straight.
Wisconsin improves to 19-4 overall, 10-3 in the Big Ten.
The Badgers will host Rutgers on Saturday.
