Nadine Becker (nee Vogel), 66, of Sheboygan, passed away at home after a lengthy disease. Nadine was born in Sheboygan on November 4, 1955 to the late Rueben and Loretta (Schwoerer) Vogel. She attended St. Dominic Elementary School and Sheboygan North High School. After high school Nadine worked at American Excelsior Company and was a dedicated employee for 46 years. Nadine enjoyed traveling, reading and her three dogs Bogie, Tyson and Lynyrd. She was a fan of Great Lakes shipwrecks and history as well as Civil War history. Because of these interests she came to meet her fiancé, John Granacker. When Nadine took up golf she became the first person in the family to get a hole-in-one.
Nadine is survived by her fiancé John Granacker and his son James (Amber) Granacker; brother Jeff (Kathy) Vogel; nephew Riley (Ashley) Vogel and their daughter Charlotte; niece Hannah (Brian) Judd, children Elyse and Claire; uncle Keith Hassinger as well as many cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Duane Vogel; sister Gloria (William) Lehman; niece Sarah Vogel and numerous aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, with a time for visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army, the Humane Society of Sheboygan County or Lakeshore Humane Society in Manitowoc.
The family would like to thank the St. Nicholas home healthcare hospice nurses, especially Becca, Jamie, Reagan and Angela, for their wonderful care and support of Nadine and her family during this difficult time.
