MADISON, WI (WHBL) – The Wisconsin Badgers almost let a 19 point second half lead disappear before holding on for an 89-85 win over Illinois State Wednesday night at the Kohl Center.
The Cardinals pulled to within one with two minutes left in the game before Wisconsin made enough free throws late to ice the victory.
Steven Crowl led the Badgers with 21 points and nine rebounds. Johnny Davis added 20, Tyler Wahl had 18 and Chucky Hepburn added 13.
The Badgers, now 10-2, will travel to Purdue on Monday.
