(WHBL) – The Waukesha Christmas Parade suspect is finally looking at a higher bail for the Milwaukee domestic violence case that had him in and out of jail just before the parade attack.
A judge on Monday set Darrell Brooks Jr’s bail for the attack on a woman early last month at 200 thousand-dollars. He was originally given just a one thousand-dollar bail. That was just days before police say he plowed through the parade crowd, killing six and injuring more than 50 others.
Brooks’ lawyer says the 200 thousand-dollar bail is unnecessary because Brooks is being held on five million-dollars bail in Waukesha.
