GREEN BAY, WI (WHBL) – Police in Green Bay are trying to figure out if three shootings on Thursday are related, or are related to other recent shootings in the city.
All three shootings happened within an hour of each other Thursday night. The incidents began around 7pm. No one was hurt in any of the shootings. Investigators are trying to determine if the shootings are related since they all happened in the same area of the city. The police department plans to release more information on Friday.
In a statement, Police Chief Chris Davis said, “Three separate incidents of gunfire in our city in one evening are unacceptable. We are doing everything we can to hold those responsible for this violence accountable, along with addressing the systemic causes of violence in our community.”
Police are asking anyone who knows anything to please come forward.
