MADISON, WI (WHBL) – The Wisconsin Badgers came from behind to beat the Indiana Hoosiers 64-59 Wednesday night in Madison.
Indiana led by 17 points at halftime, but Wisconsin fought back in the second half. The Badgers outscored the Hoosiers 16-9 in the first nine minutes of the second half.
Wisconsin finally took the lead in the last minute of the game on a Johnny Davis three-pointer and were able to hold on for the win in their first Big Ten Conference game of the season.
Johnny Davis led Wisconsin with 23 points and nine rebounds while the Badger defense held Indiana to just 17 second half points on 22.6% shooting from the floor.
Up next for Wisconsin is a trip to Ohio State on Saturday.
