GREEN BAY, WI (WHBL) – The highly-anticipated returns of Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson resulted in a defensive struggle on Sunday as the Packers ground out a 17-0 win over the Seahawks in Green Bay.
Rodgers was solid in his comeback from COVID-19 protocol, throwing for 292 yards and one interception. AJ Dillon powered Green Bay’s offense with 66 rushing yards and two touchdowns, and two catches for 62 yards.
Kevin King and Adrian Amos each picked off Wilson in the end zone.
Wilson had arguably his worst game of his career, completing 20-of-40 passes for 161 yards and two interceptions.
Seattle’s defense was led by Jamal Adams who had 11 tackles, two QB hits, one pass defensed and an interception.
This is the first time a Russell Wilson-led Seahawks team has been shut out.
Green Bay moves to 8-2 while Seattle drops to 3-6.
The Packers will head to Minnesota to face the second-place Vikings next Sunday.
