A Manitowoc man is dead following a motorcycle crash at about 1:45 on Wednesday afternoon.
Sheriff Dan Hartwig identified the cyclist as 48-year-old Ryan Nagy, who was riding his Harley northbound on Highway 147 north of Sturm Road in the Township of Michicot when he attempted to pass another vehicle. Nagy lost control and entered the west ditch where his cycle overturned, causing a high cervical spine fracture along with blunt force injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Coroner Curt Green says toxicology reports are pending and the crash remains under investigation.
