MADISON, WI (WRN) – The state Department of Justice says no one from the Wisconsin Elections Commission will meet with Michael Gableman today.
Gableman is the attorney overseeing a partisan investigation into the 2021 presidential election in Wisconsin.
A statement Thursday from DOJ said that office and Gableman’s team have continued to communicate regarding the subpoenas issued to the elections commission and administrator Meagan Wolfe.
DOJ said they’ve also agreed to continue discussions about the possibility of future testimony and under what conditions that may take place.
Gableman previously cancelled interviews with clerks and mayors of the state’s five largest cities, but said they may occur later.
