Cheese curds also form the basis of the French-Canadian dish poutine, which is curds and French fries smothered in gravy. And one of this year’s new concession items at Lambeau Field is the Tailgater Pierogi, which puts a cheese curd twist on the classic Polish dumpling.
Curds are just one type of the 3.390 billion pounds of cheese produced in Wisconsin in 2020.
