MADISON, WI (WSAU) — A group of GOP lawmakers in Madison is proposing a bill to require employers with COVID-19 vaccine mandates to also accept proof of antibodies for employees.
According to the early draft of the bill, all employers would be required to allow those not vaccinated against the disease to show that they have had it- either through a past positive test result or the presence of “naturally occurring antibodies.”
Under the bill, such proof would work the same as a vaccination record. Those tests must be dated after March 1st, 2020, and signed by a licensed healthcare provider.
Northwoods Senator Mary Felzkowski and Mukwonago Representative Cody Horlacher drafted the bill. They are looking for additional sponsors.
