KOHLER, Wis. (WHBL) – Kohler company held a meeting Wednesday morning to let their associates know that they’re all required to get vaccinated for COVID-19 by the end of the year. In a Kohler bulletin sent out after the meeting, company leadership lays out the timeline associates must follow:
September 29-December 17: Associates Get Vaccinated
October 15: Final Day for associates to apply for accommodation
November 15: Accommodation review process complete
December 17: Final day to receive 2nd dose & Final day to enroll in COVID Vaccine program
January 1: Vaccine Requirement fully implemented
The company’s vaccine requirement applies to all US Associates – onsite, hybrid, and remote. Associates with a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief who cannot be vaccinated can apply for an accommodation from the requirement. Accommodated associates will require weekly testing and additional masking requirements.
The news comes just days after the Ryder cup, which was expected to draw over 40,000 people to Sheboygan County, wraps up it’s weekend run at Whistling Straits in Haven.
How many of their valuable employees will they loose because of this ridiculous mandate. Will they be sending out the ‘Gestapo’?
