Roger James Schneider (69) passed away in the late hours of September, 11 2021. Roger passed with his
wife, Beth, and daughter, Eva, by his side.
Roger graduated from Plymouth High School in 1969 and shortly after he joined the Marine Corps,
serving 2 years during the Vietnam Conflict. Once home he married his longtime friend, Beverly
Lehmann, and together they raised their daughter, Eva.
In 1990, Roger and Beverly divorced but remained friends, and in 2018 Roger found love again and
married Beth Waller.
Roger worked for Kohler Company and retired after 42 years. He also worked with Three Guys and a
Grill doing off-site catering for many years, which was a job he really loved.
He served as Commander for the Greenbush American Legion Post #261 for the past several years
before stepping down due to health reasons, and he was also a member of the Marine Corp League.
Roger was an avid fisherman and would have been in Boulder Junction, WI this week at the annual
World Championship Muskie Classic, a tournament that he had fished in for over 30 years.
He was a man that was kind, generous and always willing to help others. The one thing that brought
Roger more joy than anything was his granddaughter, Lilly.
Roger is survived by: His loving wife: Beth Waller; Daughter: Eva (Eric) Hoitink; Granddaughter: Lilly
Hoitink; Step children: Pamela Bartoli, Michael (Lynn) Callovi, and Roger (Sarah) Callovi; 8 step
grandchildren; and 2 step great grandsons.
Roger is further survived by: Brother Mike (Kathy) Schneider; Sisters: Linda (Lyle) Jens and Lisa (Patrick)
Grimes; Nephew: Christopher Jens; Nieces: Megan Hansen and Chloe Pastorelli; Great Nieces: Jamie
Hansen and Audrey Jens; and Great Nephew: Shane Hansen.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Maxine and Lloyd Schneider, as well as many of his close
longtime friends.
Following his wishes, a Celebration of Roger’s Life will be held on October 9, 2021 (Saturday) from 1:00 –
4:00 PM at the Sheboygan Broughton Marsh Park Pavilion in Elkhart Lake, WI. A military salute and
folding of the flag will be held at this time. A private ceremony will be held for family at a later date.
In lieu of Flowers a memorial fund has been established in Roger's name.
The family would like to thank the St. Nicholas Home Health and Hospice, for all of the wonderful care,
especially his nurses: Karrah, Becca, and Holly. Also a special Thank you to Dr. Marla Wolfert, for all of
the patience and care given to Roger.
