MADISON, WI (WSAU) — It’s early but a poll conducted by Clarity Campaign Labs and released by the Mandela Barnes campaign shows the current Lieutenant Governor as a favorite in a potential Democratic primary ahead of the 2022 US Senate election in Wisconsin.
The poll surveyed 698 likely Democratic Primary voters with 37% saying they’re likely to vote for Barnes. No other candidate received more than 10% of the vote.
Tom Nelson polled at 8%, State Treasurer Sarah Godlewski pulled 7%. No other candidate got more than 5%.
The poll was conducted over two days in late August and has a MOE of 3.7%
