Diana “Barrington” Vasconi, age 77, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 5,
2021, at Tender Reflections in Manitowoc after several years of dealing with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Diana was born on May 9, 1944, to Ivins and Grace (Gardner) Barrington in Preston, Idaho. Diana’s
family later moved to Emmett, Idaho, before relocating to Cloverdale, California. She graduated from
Cloverdale High School with the class of 1962. It was at Cloverdale High School where she met the love
of her life, Larry Vasconi. Diana and Larry were married on July 20, 1963, in Cloverdale, California. Diana
and Larry raise two children, Jim and Gina. Diana worked for the Windsor School District for 25 years as
a Classified Employee, and was very proud of the time she spent there.
Diana loved spending time with her husband doing whatever came up during the day. They would take
drives together and talk about the life they lived together. Diana loved to crochet, work on puzzle books,
and read.
Diana will be forever remembered by her husband of 58 years, Larry; son, Jim (Karen) Vasconi; daughter,
Gina (Ryan) McCoy; grandchildren, Amanda and Jacob Vasconi and Jenson, Domenic, and Gabriella
McCoy; brother, Bryce (Joyce) Barrington; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Andy and Rose (Baiocchi);
aunts and uncles; and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held for Diana at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Zimmer-
Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center. A public visitation will be held from 10:00 AM –
11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will take place immediately following the service at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
