MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – We are waiting for an official crowd count, but it looks like there are a lot fewer people at Summerfest this year. The festival wrapped-up its first of three weekends on Saturday.
People in the crowd say it was much less crowded than in years past. Some people say it’s because the festival is only on weekends this year. Others say it’s because Summerfest is in September, and some people say the uncertainty and hassle of the coronavirus took its toll.
Summerfest is back with a new weekend full of shows starting Thursday.
