MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Those attending events at the Alliant Energy Center will need to provide proof of their vaccination status against COVID-19 or a negative test for the disease within the last three days to be admitted.
Officials with the venue say the decision comes as the more contagious delta variant continues to spread while also encouraging those who haven’t been vaccinated yet to get the shots.
Those who haven’t been fully vaccinated against the disease or who can’t be because of their age can provide proof of a negative test within the last 72 hours. They will also be required to wear a face-covering while attending the event.
The new guidelines went into effect on Tuesday and will remain in place until further notice.
