Update: Sheboygan Police report that as of 5 PM Wednesday, Officers were able to identify the dog involved in the bite and made contact with the owner. They thank the public for their help. The original story is below:
A dog bite that happened Tuesday afternoon has the Sheboygan Police Department requesting the public’s help in finding the canine.
The incident happened about 4 o’clock near 5th and Vollrath Boulevard. An adult female was bitten on the right hand by a dog described as a black dog with longer hair weighing around 60 pounds. The dog was being walked by a white male about 40 years old wearing a ball cap and shorts.
