Young people hoping to get their driver’s license can start making their dreams come true a bit earlier now. Besides signing the budget on Thursday, Governor Evers also vetoed four bills, but signed 16 others. One of those, Senate Bill 15, now Act 64, reduces by six months the age for getting an instructional drivers permit to 15 years old, but also increases the number of supervised driving hours needed to obtain a probationary driver’s license from 30 to 50 hours.
